Potentia Concepts is a digital consultancy and software reseller of workforce access security, data privacy and education serviecs with offices in Amsterdam and Washington DC. Potentia strengthens the Human Factor Firewall with discovery and assessment, program management and performance management service in collaboration with its software partners and IT service providers.
Our Team
Karen Bridgett is co-founder and Partner of Potentia Concepts. Currently, Karen is working with clients such as the Federal Aviation Administration performing strategic planning, workforce automation and knowledge management improvements. Prior to starting Potentia Concepts, Karen held senior level consulting positions with American Management Systems and Universal Systems Incorporated. Karen has an extensive international consulting career working as a senior IT, business, & change management consultant in industries such as telecommunications, financial services, government, and pharmaceutical. She has strong experience in engagement and project management, knowledge management, business development and pre-sales support, business analysis, product definition, marketing campaign execution, and website definition, launch and testing. Karen holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from James Madison University, and a Masters Degree in eCommerce from Carnegie Mellon University.
Adam has comprehensive international experience in strategic business development, channel partnerships, product marketing and innovation with telecommunications, security, health and government organizations. At Potentia Concepts he develops partner relationships, new business opportunities and strategic client relationships. He has experience working with Fortune 500 corporations and start-ups.
Adam has held prior roles in business development, account management, consulting, product innovation and IT systems administration with organizations such as Sprint / Nextel, Verizon Wireless, Vodafone, SRA International, Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology, Government of the Washington DC, OECD, Proteus and M3 Information. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration – Management Information Systems from James Madison University, a Master of Science in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, PMI - Agile Certified Practitioner and Certified CIO Competencies Certificate from George Washington University. Adam is a member of the Amsterdam Toastmasters Club and Amsterdam American Business Association.
Antonio Martins-Ferreira, Business Advisor at Potentia Concepts, contributes for the expansion in new business in EMEA. Before, Martins-Ferreira served as VP Head of ITSS for Vodafone Iberia at Ericsson, whose main responsibility was leading the end-to-end business (sales and delivery) in Vodafone Spain and Portugal, related to the areas of OSS, BSS and TV & Media. Previously, was Vice President for International Business at Novabase/Celfocus where he played a significant role for the international business growth in new geographies. Prior to Novabase/Celfocus, was VP Business Development at Carrier IQ for EMEA, and had a key management role in the Telecommunications and Media segment of Oracle Corporation, Siebel Systems and Edocs, with proven leadership to build and grow a territory and penetrate new markets. As Vice President of Amdocs, was responsible for the launch of the company in Iberia, leading strategic and critical projects in Telefónica Spain. Also held Sales, Partners Management and Customer Executive positions in AMS, Silicon Graphics, Oracle Portugal, Memorisoft, NCR and Nixdorf, with a special focus in consultative/Solutions Selling and Management. Martins-Ferreira holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon.
