Karen Bridgett -- Co-founder/Partner
Karen Bridgett is Co-founder and Partner of Potentia Concepts. Most recently, Karen has worked with clients such as the Federal Avaiation Administration performing strategic planning, workforce automation and knowledge management improvements. She has also worked with companies such as Verisign performing project management and business analysis on various mobile products and IT systems. Prior to starting Potentia Concepts, Karen held senior level consulting positions with American Management Systems and Universal Systems Incorporated. Karen has an extensive international consulting career working as a senior IT, business, & change management consultant in industries such as telecommunications, financial services, government, and pharmaceutical. She has strong experience in engagement and project management, knowledge management, business development and pre-sales support, business analysis, product definition, marketing campaign execution, and website definition, launch and testing.
Karen holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from James Madison University, and a Masters Degree in eCommerce from Carnegie Mellon University.
Adam Hoey -- Co-founder/Partner
Adam is Co-founder and Partner of Potentia Concepts. He has +20 years of international hands-on experience successfully innovating, designing, commercializing and supporting products and services for telecommunications, IT, government and healthcare clients. Adam has deep experience in the mobile telecommunications industry with numerous carrier, vendor and OEM relationships across the mobile ecosystem. He has worked with large corporations and start-ups in the US and Europe.
Most recently Adam was a senior consultant and Interim Senior Director of Product Management for a US healthcare IT and mobile startup where he assisted the company with product strategy, development and go-to-market activities. Prior to this he assisted SRA, the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA on research and development for the Commercial Mobile Alerts System (CMAS). As a senior consultant with Verizon Wireless and Acta Consulting, Adam managed the design and launch of Verizon's first next gen messaging app called "Verizon Messages" with group an location messaging as well as its mobile IM product.
Earlier roles include Director of Carrier Relations and Business Development for Proteus where he managed its messaging campaign business with AT&T and T-Mobile, Senior Manager - Product Commercialization & Strategy with Sprint Nextel, and Manager of Device Marketing and Product Planning at Nextel. Prior to working with Potentia Concepts in the US, Adam was a freelance consultant in Europe and held various roles in IT consulting with US systems integrators and their telecommunications clients.
Adam holds a BBA and MIS degree from James Madison University, and a masters degree in technology management (MSIT) from Carnegie Mellon University. He sits on the board of a local main street non-profit that supports local business promotion and community development.
