Data Privacy Training & Compliance

Data privacy operations, management and education are critical components to securing customer and partner trust as well as meeting global regulatory and industry-based compliance.

The European Union's new General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR) for example specifically mentions "awareness raising" and "training" in Articles 39 and 47.  The details stop there.

It's been 2 years now since the launch of GDPR and we hear many DPO's that are unhappy with their current tools and craving features that better support and simplify day-to-day privacy operations management.

With regards to privacy education we see most emphasis placed on DPO and compliance officer education and less role-based education for the workforce with relevant use cases by department written in simple, non-legal language.
